    Is this a rigid connection or a max distance, soft feather kind of thing?

    For rigid connection you could make an invisible, non collidable rod and attach to both objects using a ball joint.

    Like Peter say, if its not movable easy do what he says.

    If not, here we go : so you got A and B.
    my guess is you are moving A, and you want B to be at the same distance.

    BUT depend if you care about physics.
    YOU DONT CARE :
    -Use teleporter ! teleporters move (cant be set to not care about rotation)
    (teleporters move and dont care about physics, mean it teleport and move across walls and things)
    So you can add a Tag on A, offset it to a position, ans every frame, it will teleport to this position in world.

    YOU CARE :
    You can use 2 followers, 1 to follow, 1 to flee. (both using close distance, follow being slightly bigger than flee)
    Use a small Fallout on both of them to make a great blend.
