Problems with the white borderlines on small scultping primitives

When i sculpt somthing, there is a white border line around the active sculpting primitve. That's normally no problem. But when i have to scale the primitive way smaller, there comes a point where the border line isn't scaling anymore with it. The white border lines getting all blurry and obscuring the smaller sculpting tool. I bypass this at the moment by scaling the model up before sculpting ( and shrinking it back later ). I think an option to turn those border lines of the active sculpting tool temporarly invisible would come in handy. Or exists such an option already?

  That would be useful. Although I suppose you could just zoom in to the detail in question, rather than scaling it up?

  Same issue. And zooming in seems to make everything bigger including the wireframes
