MM you guys really need to make it so that creators of elements i used cannot see my private scene!
its my choice as a creator that i don't want ANYONE to see or play something that's unfinished even if its a creator of elemets i used, i could just not upload anything as a save and have all my work local save only... oh wait i can't because i get a warning saying local save is at 0.99GB/1.00GB, im tired of this people playing something thats not finish and they still getting notifications with a link to my PRIVATE scene and i can't do anything about it at all.
just fix this FFS it's sorta ruining everything for me i dont want people playing my work as i make it!

Have you ever published that creation as public, even if it's unlisted? If so, to my understanding *that version* will still be playable by anyone who is sent the link (eg. if you used their creation). If that's right, then even when you later publish it privately, those people can still see the older public version.

its a scene in a dream i think its because a dream can only be unlisted and scenes in it can only be playable therefore VIP can just walk in and play whatever scene that contains their element.
by VIP i mean a creator of an element i used. -
This topic is seeming repetitive :p
Supposer is correct about past versions.
If you have the option to “Unlist” your Dream, that means you have already “Released” which makes it Playable. If a creation is in fact saved as Private, the settings will say Unreleased and there will be no option to Unlist -
if i unlist a dream which means i must have uploaded it as playable before then i reupload to make it unlisted, wouldn't make sense since i never make a unfinished Dream playable when uploading so when i upload i always make it unlisted so that must mean any dream that gets upload is always playable and an option to make it unlisted, you cant make a dream private only scenes can be private but they cant be within a dream, so when i upload a dream it can only be playable unlisted or not and the scenes in it are always playable so if anyone gets a link to a scene in the dream then they can play it invading my privacy, as for the list of versions all of them are gonna be playable because of the dream itself, i just want to private a dream and scenes in it so no one can see or play it.

Yes, you most definitely can save a Dream as Private. I have done this many times.
This particular Dream, clearly has already been Released - which makes it playable regardless of whether or not it’s Listed. That cannot be undone after the fact, Releasing something makes that version Playable forever.
If you Remix your Dream (and all the Scenes in it) Save a Private online Version instead of clicking “release” it will be totally private. But you have to use creations/remixes that were not previously made Playable. Check the creation settings to make sure they say “Unreleased” -
ok i understand now im gonna start doing save version online as private from now on thanks for the guidance :)
so this dream now i'm working on needs to stay as unlisted can't change it i could make a unreleased remix but i dont wanna have 2 copies since i cant delete the old one since its been uploaded as unlisted. but in the future ill do save versions that would be an answer to all this -
another question while its the same topic, i uploaded music as unlisted because i wanted to choose who i share it with but i can't tell if its remixible or not i only want it to be playable if i share it with someone while its unlisted can they remix it since they can get to the music scene?

Elements and Scenes are treated differently when it comes to Releasing:
Scenes, which have round shaped icons, can be made Playable (people can see but not remix) or Public (remixable)
Elements, which have hexagon shaped icons, don’t have the Playable option so if you Relase, it’s Public (remixable)
If you want to make an Element be Playable (not Public) then you have to place it in a Scene.
You can’t place a Scene into another Scene, only an Element can be placed into a Scene.
Unlisted just means people won’t see the creation on your profile or find it in a search. If you send someone a Public, Unlisted creation, they can remix it. -
ok Pookachoo thanks for the help :)

This is kinda long, but here’s a Creation Category Guide that might be useful to reference later :)
