2D Platformer Movement

I have been having this problem too. I have the Z axis at 100% and X and Y set at 0%.
It was really bad at one stage, then I aligned the camera pointer with my character properly and it seems to have help a bit. Still doesn’t stick 100% to the center.

I hope they will add better 2D support for Dreams in the future where you can lock z-axis and only work on a X, Y canvas.

Maybe you have your overall Strength not set to 100%? A few users have made 2D games already and they're stable. Check out the 2D platformer How To scene or even just remix it, it runs through step by step how to do it.

(i.e. you should use a Follower like in that example scene)

The problem came when I just downloaded the 2d Character and used it in an empty scene. I tried to remix the original scene of that character and it seems it works fine there.

I will experiment a bit with this later. :)

    Hi!
I think I know what I did wrong. When I copied the character to use in my scene, then I forgot to add a TAG in the scene to use with the Follower. I didn't try it on the platformer yet, but on another 2D game I'm working on. I got the same problem there until I realised that I need to add a TAG in the scene. :)
