how to display and personalize the information related to your character in the game screen?
hello i'm looking for a way to have a 2D visual on my game screen information, like when you pick up a cube in mario kart; your item appears on the screen; I would like to be able to set up an inventory; a life bar, and information such as the number of coins you have collected, your stamina or logos that would symbolize various actions or powers related to your game.
From what I've seen the most used thing is text management to do this process, but it seems pretty limited;
I would like to put for example fruits or one of my sculptures / paintings in the place of my hearts on my health bar, or then do a rotation animation on my part item every time I pick up a part in my game .
Does anyone have the solution please?
