the grid snap needs to be improved....
if i make a square with 1 default grid on then if i turn the grid off and move that square a bit then turn the grid on now that square isn't lined up to the grid if i then use align to grid it makes the square bigger instead of keeping the same size and just removing it back to the grid.
this is annoying and needs to be fixed but its probably not a bug right?

I haven't seen that happen when I haven't changed the grid size. If this is a bug, a video would be great.

it usually happens when its an element that i made and placed in a scene when i do align to grid it ends up changing the size when the object was made in the same grid setup as the scene.

If there are more than one object then it'll import as a group. And of course if it's a group it'll import as a group. Groups have their own origin and grid settings, so this may be the issue.
