How do I animate a hat that is scoped in to head to fall to floor?
I scoped in to attach a hat to puppet made a key frame and moved it away from head and made it physical with keep changes on in keyframe so it would drop and stay where it is. But when I walk away the camera moves in the puppet becomes invisible along with the hat. But when I scope it to the neck using the same technique I can walk away and the hat on the floor and puppet will be fine and not go invisible. I am not sure how to get that result but scoped on the head.

So first off, the puppet camera is centered on the head, so if you're making the head group larger by making the hat fall off, that's going to mess the camera up in weird ways.
What you should do, is simply turn the original hat invisible, and use an emitter to drop a second hat that isn't grouped with the puppet at all. -
Alternatively, add a named tag to the head, add a teleporter to the hat that targets the location and rotation of that tag so it moves with the head. Make the hat movable. Turn off the teleporter when you want it to stop following the head. ;D

Well that is a few more steps. Thanks for the tips. Guess I will stop being stubborn. I just decided to go with one scoped in to the head to go invisible and the other animated with keyframe to fall off not scoped into the head. I guess that will work.
