Stopping the puppet's arms and top body wobbling when aiming?
Hi, I am making a third person shooter with the puppet holding a Gatling gun. When the puppet is moving while it's in the aim position(already set the keyframe for it), its arms and body wobbles a bit. Is there a way for the arms and top part of the body to stay in place (being stiff) when it's moving in the aim position?

Have you keyframed just rotations? If you keyframe a position, then that position will hold regardless, so perhaps try that.
-
Hey, I'm not sure what you me by the rotation, but I only set the keyframe only for the arms and legs for the aim position, but not the top and lower part of the body as it won't follow the cross hair if I set it. The aiming pose is in this image.

Use another keyframe and record all the slider's on the puppet's "upper body" tweak page down to zero. That will lock those arms and shoulders down.
That's how I do all my (recent) attack animations. -
And yes, another option would be to record the gun position with inverse kinematics by using R2 to place it's position. L2 would give the rotation (aka forward kinematics).

Something like this? Plugged the keyframe to set the slides of the upper body to zero when I press L2 to aim so that it locks the upper body and arms in place, but the arms still move while the puppet is moving which throws the aim off, did I do something wrong?

Here's the image of the layout.

Yeah, that's what I do for melee attack animations. I've never done anything as senstive as gun aiming though, so maybe that isn't enough for your purposes.
Supposer's suggestion of I.K. posing the the gun by moving it with R2 while recording the keyframe is probably your best bet. -
Keyframing the sliders to zero when aiming is the ideal approach.
For the arms still moving while not aiming try keyframe them in position on the gun and power the keyframe through a not gate from L2.
When you're not aiming the puppet will hold the gun more naturally -
Got the issue fixed now. I also forgot to turn off the run animation on the puppets chip which was kinda conflicting with the aim position so I turned it off while in the aim position and key framed all the sliders to zero as you suggested which got it working. Thanks everyone for the help. :D
