when sculpting and subtracting...
is this how it works shape A is normal shape B is subtract and it cuts from from A but if you move the shape A away it gets un subtracted and if i do that i cant move shape B to where shape A is to subtract again, how do i move both without losing the cut i made or leaving sculpting mode?

You can not select more than one shape at a time in sculpt mode. This means you may want to make smaller sculpts that are only a section of a whole object, or that you are happy with the edits you make to a sculpture before moving on to the next design decision.
This limitation was a bit anoying at first, but I adjusted my workflow and haven't been bothered by it for weeks. -
'@Magnus0Mind00 so does this mean you also can't move subtracted/cut objects in sculpt mode? Like making fingers, I'd have to make clones for each finger, and move them outside of sculpt mode? Otherwise for me, the subtract shape acts as a solid, and I'd you move the object, the subtract is suspended as if you aren't cutting the object, but placing a clear shape to make it appear cut

It seams the only shape I can properly subtract is the curve subtract. Every other subtract shape leaves a clear stamp of that shape
