How do I create complex dialogue trees?
Hi!
I get how to do the very basic dialogue and close button prompt box.
What I want to know is how to use the page with the prompts for all the different buttons (triangle, square, etc) so that I can have an in depth conversation with an NPC.
It seems like there is an input spot for a wire for these things. But what I'm not sure about is how to activate it?
Now for my feedback about this issue: Intuitively, it would be best for that series of prompts to replace the skip/close prompt and act doubly as closing the current dialogue box while sending a pulse to activate the next dialogue box (whichever one is wired as the response to your input). If this is already the case, please forgive my ineptitude and point me in the right direction.

The buttons for X, O, [ ], etc on the penultimate tab of the dialogue gadget are BUTTONS! did not realize this before!
Have made a short editable public scene called "Dialogue tree test" if anyone needs additional help on this topic.
