Do we have a corner editor or something that works the same?
I'm looking for whatever the dreams equivalent of a stretchy tool is.
I am going to use the precise measurement of "square".
I have a rectangle that is four squares by four squares by....something, the length doesn't matter.
I would like to leave one end 4x4. I want the bottom surface to slay flat.
At the other end, I would like to pull one side in one square, pull the the other side in one square and pull the top down two squares.
That would result in a shape that is 4x4 at one end and tapers in and down to a 2x2 shape at the other, with the bottom completely flat.
How do I do this without trying to laboriously chop out the shape?

Chopping the shape is probably your only option in the Dreams sculpting tool. It should be fairly quick if you use a subtractive wedge and the kaleidoscope guide though.
Hope this is OK - Peter -
Sigh. Okay, thank you.

Can you imagine the complex shape you want as several primitives added together? In edit shape (shift + square) you can use the furthest right option to have 1/2 or 1/4 of the primitive - this is useful for putting a rounded face on top of a flat face.
E.g. Cube + 1/2 Cylinder = cube w/rounded top -
Mirror + Grid could achieve this fairly easily, if this is the shaps you want. Just cut at a 45 degree angle halfway through one side of it

I was using the shape I was talking about more as an example of a concept than a specific shape. I'm trying to wrap my head around this.
I don't do "subtracting", lol. My brain doesn't work that way. I'm trying to figure out how to create objects by manipulating and combining....but the tools don't seem capable of that.
I don't understand how to use the primitives to make precise cuts. The same limitations that prevent me from corner editing a sculpt, also don't let me corner edit a primitive. Which pretty much means I have to free-hand the cut......So how to I get the precise angles I need? -
Stretching primitives on a grid can give you more fidelity as well, try using that some potentially?
