how do I clone without grouping with the parenr object ?
Lets say I want to use a part a of an object in my scene to save time and not have to fully resculpt it : I scope in an object, select the interesting part (lets say a stick shape thing for modular purposes) and then scope out and clone it.
BUT tge new stick is part of a group with the other ..
How do I ungroup or How to clone and make a separate thing ?

Hi there!
Once you've cloned your object while you're still grabbing it hold L1 + X to scope out, and press that as many times as you need to until it's outside of the group :)
If however it's a sculpt and a sculpt within a larger sculpt we have the Cut out tool that you can use https://indreams.me/guide/palette-glossary/model/tools/cut-out Or you could clone the sculpt, take that out of the group and the delete the sculpts from inside that you no longer want.
Hope that helps!
Thanks,

Just to clarify: L1 + O, not X to scope out. Works across the board too, if you want only part of a grouped sculpture, just hold the element with R2 and scope out.
