Is it possible to edit the size of the faces of primitives?
I was trying to make a slanted, square based roof, but its very hard to do so with a custom angle. You can use the wedge shape but then your angles are stuck at 45 degrees. It would be useful if you could change face dimensions independently of the shape. So for example you could reduce in size the top face only of the cube shape (which in effect would give you a square based pyramid with its top chopped off). Is such a thing possible or am i missing something? Cheers! :)

Stamp a shape down, and cut away at it at any angle you want.

You can modify the shapes in some basic ways, for example changing the angle of the wedge as you like. You do that in sculpt mode by pressing L1+square (I think?) and then pushing/pulling on the shape.
Another, possibly more flexible way would be to build a single side of the roof as a separate sculpt, and then use the mirror tool to position it and a flipped copy at whatever angle you want.
