Is it more efficient to not make everything in Game scene?
Does it make any difference if I make a character/sculpt/music in it's designated area compared to doing it all in game scene? I was trying to make a quick world and found i maxed out on the thermo pretty quick.
Also, is the size of something relevant to the thermo? If something is relatively huge compared to the starting platform in game scene will that affect much?

You can see what part of the thermomiter is maxxing out by going to the show/hide are in the menu and selecting the thermomiter. This will display 3 bars. Gameplay, graphics and audio. You can click on these bars to get more info but the bottom line is:
If audio is over budget you will need to remove some sounds
If gameplay is over budget you will need to remove gadgets
If graphics is over budget you can optomise.
To optomise sculpts you can go to the tools menu and right on the far right is the sculpt detail tool. select this and objects that are super costly will show up as red. clicking on them reduces their detail and will bring you back within budget.
Hope this helps :) - Peter -
Hi,
Also to answer your question about size, if you have 2 sculpts say of a rock, and you clone one and make it bigger it costs exactly the same.
Also if it is a clone it's waaaay cheaper than making another rock. So use clones as much as possible to be efficient :)

Thank you both!
