help with motor bolt to create first -real -working car

  • Mm dev - Bogdan/Yann

Try having 2 rotators on a wheel.
Set one rotator to have a positive rotation speed, wire R2 to the power of that one.
Set the other rotator to have a negative rotation speed, and wire L2 to the power of that one.

I'm sure with some simple logic you could avoid two rotators though

I made another post about cars btw and John made a very helpful suggestion about a suspension setup. Its in beta chat

Simple solution with one motor bolt...

Both L2 and R2 give you a positive signal (0 to 1) when you wire them into the bolt's speed so they both drive in the same direction. So pop out a Signal Combiner from the logic gadgets and, leaving it at its simplest setting (Signal) wire R2 into the + input and L2 into the - input. Then output the signal combiner to the motor bolt's cycles per minute and you should be ready to roll.

Make sure you set the max speed to something other than zero before you connect the wire to Cycles per Minute, that way you get the 'modulate' wire option instead of the 'overwrite' option. But if too late you can switch the input blending by hovering over the input bud, holding L1 and pressing X. You'll see the 'OR gate' icon but need to change this to the '×' icon.
