How do you reel objects closer or farther using the PSVR controllers?

Apologies - noob here. I would like to be able to move my sculpt shape away from my face, so that I can see it in full, at a comfortable distance from my eyes... and place it further away, lining it up with a distant platform (that is not a part of my scoped-in selection). In the original PS4 Dreams experience this was called "reeling". How do I do that with the PSVR controllers? I'm having trouble finding anything online. Am I using the correct search term?

  It tells you in the All Aboard tutorial game thingy. While holding something with the primary move controller, hold circle on the secondary move controller and twist.
