Is there a way to dynamically change the colour of every object in a group, without connecting wires to every object?
Essentially, what I want to do is send a random colour during play mode, which will change the colour of every object in a group. I can definitely do this if I scope in to every part separately, open the sculpture properties, and connect a wire to the Tint Colour wheel. This is unlikely to be viable for what I'm working on, because I would probably hit the wire limit in the scene.
The best option I've found is to use a Keyframe and Coat Mode to change the colour of the whole group at once. However, this removes the option of using a random colour, unless I use multiple Keyframes - which again will probably become an issue for the thermometer.

After further investigation, I've discovered that Keyframes add an invisible wire to every sculpture, when making an edit to a group. Therefore I'm going to just manually wire everything to achieve full randomisation, since it will cost the same for the thermometer.

I was experimenting with this exact thing today. For my needs, I may just throw in the towel and use the hue shift in the grades and effects. Not what I wanted, but there's way too many objects to wire up / keyframe.
