How do I save a 100% private, local remix, and keep it that way until I'm ready to release it?
I have a proof-of-concept doodle, which uses someone else's puppet as a base. The doodle is locally-saved to my PS4, not released at all, and unlisted from searches.
The original creator recently gave my doodle a thumbs-up, which is great! Except, you know, I did not intend to share this WIP with anyone yet -- hence my decision to save it as a local file only, and not upload it anywhere.
This remix uses a camera pan near some cloned elements, and I must reduce the strobe effect before sharing. It's mild, but I'm familiar enough with photo-epilepsy to take caution.
Please let me know if this sharing of private files is intended behavior. I'd be heartbroken if my little sketch jumped out of my PS4 and caused someone's first seizure.
Thank you.

Oh!
Just found the option to filter my own creations by public release. Apparently I included a remix of this doodle in a published Dream. That makes sense. I've updated it, and it's all good now.
Remixing can create quite the rabbit hole. I'll have to keep a personal log of all my uploads and edits! -
Just for future knowledge, if you “Release” a creation that does make it Playable even if you make it Unlisted. From edit mode, you can Save Version and choose to save online as Private. This way no one can see your work (even if it’s remixed from someone else) and it’s a good way to make a backup copy :)
When something is private the creation settings will say “Unreleased”
