What kind of gadget can the Splitter's "Fat Wire Type" output be meaningfully connected to?
In the Splitter's tweaks, there is a property called "Fat Wire Type". The tooltip says that it displays the icon of the type of fat wire being split. This suggests that the information in that property is the identity of a data type. But a close look at the property reveals that it's also an output connection.
Are there any gadgets that an output of the type "Fat Wire Type" can be meaningfully connected to?

Hi, it's only real use is to allow you to identify what type of wire is going into the splitter. If you were making some reusable logic you could perhaps use it to alter behaviour based on the type of wire the user plugs in. I.e. if the user plugs a colour into the car you've made maybe it tints the car that colour, whereas if a player plugs in a number maybe if shifts the hue.
See if you can find a use for it :)

I believe it outputs just a number. So you can identify what kind of wire is connected by your logic and handle it properly.
Im not sure about the use. But maiby if you are creating some univesal microcihp that can be connected to mulptiple different wires, you can use this output to modify the behaviour of the gadget? (for example you should be able to read if you connected wire with 2,4 or 8 numbers and maybe you want to change behaviour based on that.)
