How do I attach 2 complex mechanical parts together?
Hello! I'm building thrill rides in Dreams and wanted to build a spinning ride attached to a lift that tilts it 45 degrees into the air.
I have the main ride body working (no cars attached yet) as well as the lift, video at: https://youtu.be/Wg8X6l2Cwjk
No matter what I try though, when I attempt to attach the top of the lift to the bottom of the spinning platform (the disc I made parent and built the motor bolt off of), when I let the scene play the contraption breaks itself apart and doesn't seem to want to let the 2 machines attach to each other.
I even saved each as objects and scoped all the way in other other machine and brought a copy of the 1st machine in via the hourglass up top, that didn't work either.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or suggest somethings I can try to chase down the root of the issue? This ride will be really cool once I get it working correctly, but so far reaching that mile stone has been a scream-inducing endeavor haha!

FYI my issue seems to stem from 2 things:
1) Make my sculpts weigh less...
2) Sometimes the game freaks when you try to connect 2 pieces of 2 separate groups together.
Either way, got my ride working now---although please Media Molecule add an advanced glue option like in LBP ;-)
