Create custom puppet without use of the basic puppet model?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but is there any way to turn a sculpture into a puppet without using the basic or deluxe puppet models?
I have tried looking for the puppet logic module to create a base to work from (the little trophy logic cube) but can't find this anywhere in the gadget toolbar.
I'm slowly getting my head around how basic logic works, but puppeteer seems really difficult at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I saw this stream about adding separate sculptures to a deluxe puppet. I followed what was done exactly (hold the object, L1 and X to scope in on puppet head, place sculpture) and the hat in the video is attached to the puppet. When I try and attach a small hat, the hat falls and is not attached.
Any help guys? -
There is no tool for that but you can still do it. It's really complicated and elaborate. You basically have create everything from scratch. Forwards/backwads movement and jumps with movers. And animation loops for everything with keyframes.

Hi,
To stop things falling, make sure you set the tweak on them to not be moveable. else it will just fall out of the group.
As for creating your own puppet you'd have to use a huge amount of logic to animate it yourself.
It's always better to use the puppet gadget to help you in these cases unless you're really confident with the logic system.
dont forget you can use the stretch and sculpt tools to proportion the puppet into the shape you want.
