How to handpick music notes to map to the controller during Performance recording?
I'm working on original compositions for music, and as of now I have to draw each note by hand because I can't figure out (if it's even possible) how to map specific note combinations to my controller buttons for performance recording. I know how to change the key, but all those extra toggleable specifics of like "egyptian minor" are just gibberish to me and I can never find the exact 8 notes I want to map for live recording. Is there a way to handpick all 8 notes for all 8 buttons?

I don't know the answer to your question, but my guess is "Egyptian Minor" is a westernized version of a maqam. Middle Eastern music uses quarter steps as well as half and whole steps, so my guess is that "Egyptian minor" is based on that.. Maqams are sort of like scales, but a maqam includes not just the scale but the kinds of melodic movements typically attached to each note in the scale.
