Importing photos/images from PS4 Capture Gallery to Dreams? (help with something more specific)

I saw in another thread that importing photos is not available in the beta (hopefully it will be in the full release!).

But more specifically, I want to take a photo from my PS4 Capture Gallery and set it as my profile background (possibly in homespace later on, too). I believe the only way to set something as your background is through your profile's Photos section, in which case you would have to take a photo through the Photo Mode. Am I correct?

I haven't finished all of the tutorials yet nor have I experimented with all the tools (or any for that matter). But is there be a procedure to somehow get this to work, whether it is through some hack or through Create Mode?

    I probably shouldn't be asking these kinds of questions all the time, knowing it's only the beta and that we are trying to focus mainly on Creator bugs.

    Buuuuutttt maybe I can learn something about the Create Mode if anyone has any ideas?

    You have to take pictures with photo mode to use them as your profile background, yeah. I don't think they'd want people using photos from other games or sources so they probably won't have an import for that -

    I wonder if they would allow images from your LittleBigPlanet profile then.....knowing that they'd still be under the Mm brand (mostly).

    Hi there,

    You can indeed only take photos within the photo mode in the game and then set those as your profile background.

    You can take photos of others creations and use those, or of your own but you can't get photos from an external source into the game.
