HDI Make the Level start right at the puppet and the game camera not S-L-O-W-L-Y lower into place?
My character starts in a hallway and it doesn't look good for the default game camera to slowly lower down, viewing the outside world, then pass through the ceiling. I have the puppet on "force possession" and it still lowers into place. I tried putting in a camera to point the view I want at start, have the puppet standing in a trigger zone wired to that camera but that doesn't work. What in the world?

You could always put a wipe on a timeline that kicks off at the start of the game. Then adjust the time to mask the things you don't want the player to see.

Try a pointer camera for the start of your level. This one should not zoom in

What is a "pointer" camera? I put a camera in, at the beginning, looking where I want it too. I have the character standing in a trigger zone that is wired to said camera. I have the camera set to "cut" and transition time is at 0 and it still slowly lowers to the character. Maybe wire an ON switch to that camera?

The pointer camera has it's own little logic-looking icon in the camera section. You just place it down and physically move it to point the camera where you want.

Just tried the pointer camera. No dice. Still the default game camera slowly descends to the character. At this point, I'm starting to think it's a bug.

Try possibly going into the controller sensor on the character and going to the camera tab. Try messing around with some of those. May be able to just lower it and zoom in a bit by default which may skip the lowering part. Sorry I have a very weak understanding of this stuff just saw you only got 1 recommendation so I thought id try to help
