Record possession doesn’t work on heavily customized puppet?
I am using a puplet for my fps project but it is heavily modified with a custom movement and collision system, it still receives inputs through the controller sensor of course. When i record possession i can possess it and record everything but it does not play afterwards?

Yeah I'm having this problem too. I can't record possession but I can use the other two methods which is a total pain. I have just lipsync two characters to an audio track using key frames (took hours!) and now find that I can't properly animate the head movements the way I wanted to. I have microchips holding key frames on different levels of scope for different facial features eg. One for eye movements, one for swapping mouth shapes etc. I'll try a couple of tests with varying levels of customisation to see what breaks it first.

Yup, worst fears realised - I tried possession with a blank character and it worked no problem. I then added one attachment which was an eyeball which can be rotated with the ball joint and an eyelid which closes using a bolt connector and boom! Possession fails to record. Sigh...
If this bug doesn't get fixed then it's going to be a long laborious path to get the proper results I'm afraid using key frames

I literally only added one keyframe to make a blank puppet wave and tried to use it and it works but it doesn't record the wave I made it do.

we have the same problem. We want to Record the driving of a self created vehicle in a Scene we build. But after a few seconds driving the Imp is shown on the screen again and we get the message "test mode left" in a green box at the bottom of the screen.
I tried tt change the controls of the vehicle but that does not fix the problem.
Any Ideas? -
Hey idk if y'all were using keyframes to wholly replace the controller sensor but I just figured out that using keyframes to power on switches to send manual signals to the controller sensor the animations are attached to totally works. Then I just have a timeline of signal toggling to trigger the controller sensor inputs

Same problem I think. Possession recorder is not recording my facial expression keyframes. Any ideas? Any good cutscene or animation tutorials for facial expressions or do you have to do everything with keyframes. I'm just curious what the best method for making animated shorts is.
