I can’t figure out how to get a camera to rotate around an object
I’m trying to get a camera to rotate around an object so when a player views it has a 360 rotation, but I can only get the object to rotate as shown in the video.
I asked about this in another post and got a response from John saying do this
Make a object, place a camera, group the object and camera and then place a rotator and group that with them and that should be it.
I did all that and I still only get the object rotating, is there something I need to tweak or not tweak??

Would someone mind giving me more specifics on the setup as well?

A couple of things to check:
The camera should be in the same group as the object that rotates. (You may have already done this. It's hard to tell from the video.)
If there's another camera in the scene, it may be messing things up. -
Hi,
I think you are almost there. I think the problem has arrisen over group confusion.
If you group 2 objects (in this case a camera and a sculpt) but the rotator you have placed has been placed on the sculpt within the group, it will only rotate that sculpt.
what you need to do is place that rotator on the group, on the outside of it so it tells the whole group to rotate not just the sculpt.
hope this fixes your issue
John
