How Do I Do Stop Frame Animations Using Keyframes
OK, this is driving me nuts. What I want to do is use keyframe 1 and move it slightly. Use keyframe 2 (from keyframe 1 position) and move that slightly. Then use keyframe 3 (from keyframe 2 position) and move that slight ... and so on.
The problems I'm encountering even when I use 'keep position':
I put the first pose on a timeline. In order to make sure the mannequin is in position to pose keyframe two, I've moved the playhead manually but if I move it slightly before the keyframe ends, I cannot move the mannequin because it's stuck in keyframe 1s pose. If I move it slightly past the keyframe, it returns to the hands by side pose, even with keep position on.
So HOW do I do stop frame animation, keep the pose for one keyframe and then animate from there for the next?

Place your first keyframe and animate your scene. Save the animation.
Now copy this keyframe, place it and select it. When selected the animation positions stored in it are shown as they were copied too. Now select the edit ketframe option and make frame 2.
Copy frame 2 and just repeat for frame by frame.

Ah, that makes sense, thank you. Someone already said as much but it came across as a 'workaround' and so I wanted to know how it should be done properly. So this IS the way it's done properly. Thanks.

A quick tip for if you're having difficulty moving the playhead to the position you want... you can zoom in to the timeline by using L1 + left/right (with the DS4; not sure what it is with the move controllers).
