Make a 45° camera that follows a player
So I'm trying to have a camera hover above my character at a 45°-ish angle. I'm trying to get it to follow the characters XYZ location at a set distance, but not rotate or spin when the puppet does.
Just kinda like your agerage top down 3D platformer camera...

Are you using a puppet?
If you scope into the puppet and tweak it's control sensor, you can adjust the camera height and angle from there. Hope it helps! -

The camera still seems to 'rotate' if you will when the puppet moves. Do you know how to get it completely static and just follow the position of the puppet?

I'm trying to get the camera to face the same direction. That might make more sense :)

Try turning on the "face camera" button in the tweak menu. If not you can also just add your own camera in the circuit board, that should lock the view :)

I think I broke it lol. Added a camera to the puppet circutboard but it began to continuously spin around the puppet.
Found a way to get the effect I wanted though! It ivolved disabling character animation and sticking a camera and gyroscope to the head of the puppet, but it works I guess ?
I'm sure there's a simple solution and I'm over-explaining/thinking it, but thanks for your help!! :) You guys are doing amazing work over there! -

Figured it out. All you have to do is place a camera pointer anywhere in your level and point it in the right direction.
