Remove transparency on open gadgets
To me it is very distracting to have transparency on things like microchips because (a) it can be really hard to see wires and things on the open pane, and also there are selection difficulties sometimes when multiple panes are open in front of each other - sometimes you have to change the camera angle or move the pane to select an item. Also, it is really hard to see where the play head is versus note boundaries on music timelines. I don’t find any use to having transparency on gadgets.

"But it looks totally rad" ;P
Yeah, an option for this would be good. In some situations it's very hard to read the text as well, because it's affected by the sun or something?

It could also be good for edit mode performance. I've made Scenes before where if I start overlapping a few open microchips, then the framerate really chugs.

Have wanted this since alpha!

This one drives me nuts. I can't believe anyone ever thought that transparent Microchips were a good idea. I can't believe they've never changed it. I need to see the complex logic I'm working on, not be distracted by all the unnecessary fluff behind it.
Or give us a Dreams-wide Preference to set the amount of Transparency.
