Preview the movement through effect fields while dragging a note in the piano roll
Right now, it uses only the original position for the preview. Which for things like strings, etc. tends to be smack-dab in the middle of a field that lowers the volume of the note. So in some cases while working with notes in the piano roll you can't hear them very well.
This can feel very much like a bug, and drive you crazy if you don't realise that's what's going on. A long while back, I was looking all over the place for why the note was so quiet. I thought it might be the 3D positioning, wasn't that; it was keyframed, wasn't that... then I realised it wasn't quiet while playing normally and the problem only happened while dragging the note in the piano roll. So I gave up and chalked it up as a bug--and that's someone who is very experienced in Dreams and tracking down the causes of issues. Only recently did I realise what was going on. So I would imagine a lot of people would just be completely flummoxed by this.
It would be great if they could replay the performed positions of how it moves through the effect fields so we can hear the full thing. This would make it clearer what is happening to the preview and the cause, and also be more useful as a preview in general.
(Or if that's really not a possibility, perhaps use no effect fields at all so you get the "natural" sound of the instrument--which is more likely to be audible/useful.)
