"Cast shadows" option for paintings

At the moment, I think elements created in Paint Mode can't have a shadow. It can be quite annoying when you're making actual items like bushes, flowers or trees with this mode. If you need a shadow, you will have to hide a sculpt inside your painted item... A new option, just like sculpts have, to enable shadows for paintings could be nice?

  Yep, I made a slightly moving rope using paint the other day. And was surprised when i went to look for a shadow option and couldnt find one
