How Do I Create a Snorricam effect in my animation?
Dear Dreamers,
How do I setup a camera to create a snorricam effect
(Here's a handy example if your're unsure what i'm talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xr73ez4lqDI)
I'm able to get the thing working in playback by grouping a camera with the head inside a puppet. And the camera follows the head wherever it goes. However when I place that cameras gadget into a timeline the effect is lost and the camera remains stationary.
So is there a way for a camera to become the active camera at a given point in time without it being inside a timeline? I don't know.
So yeah, TAPgiles if you could get back to me on this at your nearest convenience that would be brilliant ;-)
Thank you

Hehe... here I am!
Yeah, if it's part of the head it will move with the head. If it's part of the timeline it will move with the timeline. So just leave it as part of the head, is all.
You can leave it powered-off, and then power it on with a keyframe in the timeline. Stretch the keyframe for the duration you want it to be on for.
