Dreams native ps5
-
They've said for now they're focused on features and improvements that will benefit all users and creators, which means on the same software instead of making a new PS5-only version.
At some point in the future they'll probably make a PS5 version would be my guess. But no idea when that might be.

Taking advantage of the topic, does anyone know how the thermometer limit is calculated in Dreams in terms of hardware? I'm also curious what the difference between the PS4 and PS5 limit would be in theory.

I'm holding off of going too deep into dreams until they mention any support for the PS5/PSVR2. It does not have to be full PS5 support - just at least Duel sense features. I hope they will confirm they are supporting the game into the future, even though the engagement with the game on the player side is rather pitiful right now, sadly. Without any confirmation from MM or Sony, it's looking like this game will be sunset.

@X-Pvsmen-X That's the whole thing though... it's not calculated based on the hardware spec. The thermo limits are set by Mm so that it all fits into the memory of a PS4. It doesn't scan the console and adjust to its spec.

But that is the thing, "IF" there is a dedicaded PS5 version, the possible increase of the gameplay thermo would be kinda 2 times, maybe more?

I’m still new to Dreams. The lack of PS5 support certainly made me reluctant to buy it as it made me doubt it’s future support, which is not good for a product that relies on community.
Just a few PS5 tweaks, such as the thermo showing how your project will run on a PS4 would be nice.
