Under options you'll find "my preferences". from there you have to toggle "visual feedback" to minimal!

Yes, you have to go into sculpt mode of the object (L1+X) and then use the spray paint tool to partly paint your object (Modify the tool with: L1+Square)

Had this problem aswell, you can click on start fresh choose dream and then put your scene in it!

In the 3d panning options there's a slider for sound volume from behind, if automatic panning is disabled, hope that helps.
