Re. batteries, their counterpart in dreams is the value slider I"d say. But like Magnus said, calculator is all you need here.

In case you don't know, you can remove tint by tweaking the sculpt itself and reducing the tint amount slider.

Are you sure that when recording the keyframe, its the group that you're rotating, not the sculpt within?
