Why do the spray paint and cutout shapes not move with their sculpt inside scope?

I find this very frustrating tbh, is there a way to disable this that I’m missing?

  Unfortunately this is a limitation of how the sculpting tech works. When you're spray painting, or cutting with a shape, you're not actually modifying the colour/shape of the shapes that are already there -- you're creating an area in space which will tint or cut away other shapes that pass through it. I tend to find it better to paint a sculpture after you have it looking how you want it, to avoid the issue of needing to move shapes after painting them.

  '@Liam I see, the problem is that I like making the sculpture from parts which are cut and colored seperately and then stitched together, doing this precisely to an already finished and detailed sculpt is extremely difficult.

  Perhaps it would be easier to make those things separate sculpts entirely, and group them together afterwards?
