How do i make custom icon in the text gadget for a HUD?

I dont think there's a way to add custom icons in the text gadget other than the pre made ui using <>:: etc. So I really recommend making a draw gadget that allows us to draw our own icons. It would work exactly like a text gadget. I would love to draw a 2D coin that rotates and even shines as a part of my hud. I wanted to make a survival game but needed a on screen interactive menu with unique icons like a picaxe, fish, fishing rod, food, materials and so on. I'd have no problem drawing them if only I'd had the option. A draw gadget would make games more interactive and more unique!
