How to cut to the controller sensor camera?

When returning to the controller sensor camera after a cut scene for example there appears to be no way to cut to the controller sensor camera but instead it traverses the entire scene. One work around is to group a cut camera with the character and power that for a very short time. Is there an official way to do this?

  You can't change the transition type of the controller sensor. I'd do what you're doing; just have a timeline set to play "once" and have the cut camera on for a short time at the start.
