Can't get scoreboard to show in Three different dreams
So it seems pretty straight forward but I'm lost now, there must be some kind of glitch.
I have three dreams (with scenes) and each one is completely different. One dream/level I created shortly after I got Dreams in March. Then the other was recently and I also created a test scene/dream with JUST scoring in it. I'm unable to see the scroboard icon, neither the settings. Even if you L1+square on a screne in a dream there are no score settings at all..
timer -> score modifier
controller circle -> signal modifier -> post score signal wire
controller circle -> doorway exit
Is it a timing thing? or if you just PLACE the score gadget in your scene it AUTOMATICALLY appears in your dream.
I have all the scenes and dreams saved as playable online (some unlisted). So it can't be that?
Does it first HAVE to trigger a post score in play more, or by simply stamping the gadget do you get that scoreboard icon?
I've literlly followed along most tutorials online and still nothing. Somehow a simple step is missing? it can't be this hard?

I think I've eventually figured it out. It IS a timing thing. You cannot trigger the doorway AND the post score at the same time.
I ended up doing this:
[end of level signal ] -> post score
[end of level signal ] -> timeline -> doorway start is placed a few frames into the timeline (so there is nothing happening in the timeline in the first few frames) to give the score time to post first.Also this timeline allows you to give the doorway animation time to finish, like if you have an exit animation like a circle or another wipe. -
Ah yeah. The scoring tutorial says that you should leave a couple of seconds for the score to actually be sent before exiting the dream. Well done on figuring it out :D

I just did the MM tutorial again and it just say it will he posted not really anything about timing or waiting a sec. I fact my score for my first level was done exactly like the tutorial with score prizes and time score as well. The doorway timing is a crucial step and is t really covered anywhere.

Oh weird--I must be thinking of a stream or something. Fair enough.
