any reports of Dreams save file getting corrupted?
because mine did when i try to play dreams the game freezes sometimes and fails to load any local space scenes.
im going to lose everything that i didnt save a private version online.
i cant even copy the save onto a usb
i deleted my save and started over and my save is still being corrupted cant copy it to usb.
i hate life.

why is trying to back up local save data impossible? i get an error code CE 33116 4

I've not heard of this before. Perhaps Mm could have helped you somehow, but I guess there's not much anyone can do about it now.
We most likely cannot backup the save file because it's in early access.
So can you save things now, and load things? What's the current situation? -
well now i can save and load local saves but i still cant back them up, i use to save version a lot of stuff but for some reason i stopped.
i lost 1 full game scene and a big change to another scene that i have to re make now.
i dont think its corrupted now but before it just wouldnt load in Dreams saying file not found and during this time i had a corrupted app on my ps4 that i had to do the rebuild data base just to get rid of that.
all this started when i was playing a new game that needed to update but that update caused that game to be unplayable then all this Dream stuff started.
even my ps4 was acting weird like freezing a bit and being slow to load stuff and its a new PRO version that i got this year. -
Ah, sounds like there might be a hardware issue with your PS4 then? If it's on warranty, you should be able to get a replacement sent and transfer the data across or something.
Sorry to hear that, though. I tend to back things up to the servers privately all the time just in case anything like that happens. -
i think its ok now if i really have to ill just use a new hard drive but is it possible that a corrupted app can cause the ps4 menu to lag? and also cause downloaded games to have issues even stop them from using save data? im starting to think this the app was the problem and not my Dreams save data and i deleted the save for no reason, i dont know what ps4 app got corrupted but its too late now.
on LBP3 i had this problem a few times where save data actually destroys itself but that game was broken since day one. -
After backing up any other game data on your system, I’d recommend starting up in safe mode and doing a database rebuild:

And like Tap said, if your console is under warranty don’t hesitate to have it serviced. I’ve found PlayStation is really good about handling warranty issues. -
I'm guessing the root of all these issues is a hardware issue with the hard drive. That could cause a corrupted app, download issues, corrupted save data, lag, all sorts. So yeah, I'd get it checked out by a professional.

just to add to this i fixed my problem with a new hard drive everything works better and also it is possible to backup the Dreams save file to usb stick, back on my damage hard drive it was giving me an error due to the damaged hard drive among other issues.
