rotating Gadgets in Microchip

Is there any way of rotating an gadget in an microchip like in LBP, because it would make wiring gadgets much easier?

There is a prompt for it when moving an gadget in a microchip, but it doesn't do anything.

  You cannot as far as I know. I could see it being useful in some cases, though I think in general having the certainty that everything goes "in" on the left and "out" on the right is pretty useful.
  
  Something that may help if you weren't aware of it, is to press X on a wire in the microchip window. It adds like a "pin" that helps you have more control over routing the wires in a way that makes sense for you.
  
  What does the prompt say, and what button combination, out of interest? I don't think I've noticed that before.

  Hi Supposer, thx for your comment. I already knew about the pinning of wires which is very useful, but the prompt when grabbing a gadget in a microchip literally says [L2 Rotate], but it doesn't do anything.
