lockable scenes to prevent accidental deletion

I just deleted by accident a scene in my dream i spent ALL DAY working on. I will not be able to get all the design ideas and implementation back because as i copied/saved elements for the scene, and then went to delete them after copying over, it deleted all my hard work...

Also having background saves that last AT LEAST until I close the program would have saved me 9 hours of effort today. I try to be smart, but by cleaning out the copied parts, i somehow managed to kill all my work today.

So unless there is a way to recover my deleted scene area I'm not very happy. I've already had the problem where working on a sculpture i got thrown far off from the 0,0 coordinates and almost forever lost that work...

I'd upload all to online but i dont want to publish my work yet to show anyone. I don't know what i'm supposed to do here to protect my time and effort.

    Try publish it privately, that way it's on the servers but no one can see it. I think that's how it works anyways.

    I don't think someone deleting their own work can be a problem with the game. I can understand you're frustrated, but you can't really blame anyone else for deleting your own work.

    I'm unclear on what actually happened, though. Maybe there is some advice I can give that may help you in future. It sounds like you made a scene, saved things out as separate creations, then deleted the scene? So that resulted in the scene not being there any more as expected, but your saved-out creations should still be there, right?
