How Does Follow behavior Work?

So i've been trying to study the Deluxe Puppet and i noticed that it has a "Follow behavior" microchip and in it there is a certain keyframe called "Follow".
deleting that will cause the puppet to stop following me around although it will keep looking at me.

how does all that work? and can a single keyframe cause a follow behavior?

i'm sorry if this is an obvious question.. i'm just not very good with logic

  Hi,
  
  Any name put into the follow, or look at entries will make the puppet follow or look at a specified tag,
  You can turn that in and off via keyframes

  Keyframes basically just set any settings. So, they can set the position of an object. Or they can set the glow of an object. Or they can turn a feature on (eg. follow). The follow behaviour is actually in the puppet interface I believe.
