Is there a way to separate new objects from the history of objects where it was created?

You can only delete local saves, so anything that’s been saved online is permanent. Sounds like you did a remix of the original? I don’t think you can sever the genealogy at this point, but also I don’t think it will cause you any problems with your creation.
If you really want it separate and are willing to start over again, this should work:
Start a new sculpture, and stamp in your old creation. Do your new sculpting, and then make sure every part of the old creation is deleted. In my experience this will keep the new creations genealogy separate from the old one.

I have just run into this problem myself. I have been working on my project since early access began pretty much. I started with some (well, a lot of actually) logic, then puppets, then more logic for a scene, etc, etc. I always use "Save as a New Creation" since it's supposedly different from remixing, I assumed it was making those things independent of the original creation (otherwise it would be functionally the same as a remix).
Anyway, I realized that I haven't shared anything in a long time, so I decided to release a bunch of assets that I made for my most recent scene. I made them all nice and saved as new creations, put them in a collection, added descriptions, cover photos, just generally spent a bunch of time (not including the actual making of the items).
Then I go to publish and find that they can't be released as public unless pretty much everything I've made for my unfinished project is also released as public.
I'm just totally gutted because this means that I won't be able to release these assets, or anything else I'm proud of that I foolishly made from within a different scene until I'm happy with releasing everything I've worked on so far (not gonna happen).
I just needed to rant, sorry. Feeling so defeated.
