how do i make a keyframe record turning the object without the keyframe recording the object's position

when recording using keyframes if i dont move the object and instead turn it or make it smaller it does that fine but when that object moves using a follower then it does not follow due to the keyframe saving the object's position when i never moved it.

how do i make this work? i wanna make an object smaller and can still use follower logic.

    Can’t I am afraid.

    Spent hours/days trying to work round this in the beta, but it’s currently a limitation of the keyframe system.

    There needs to be a tweak menu in the keyframe where you can turn on/off the “things” the keyframe is animating.

    yeah exactly like for the key frames turn off movement in its options so it only records turning and scaling

    In theory perhaps animate the object within a group, and make the group follow where you want it to go?
