How do I create platform that disappear/appear after death

I created platforms that disappear (keyframe) after the user steps on them (trigger zone) for 1 second (timer). How can I make the platforms reappear in case the user fails to cross and needs to try again?

  You would need to use a second key frame!
  I recommend you go do the animation tutorial about key frames and will explain better that I can.
  I think you can maybe use the tweek menu on the trigger zone and there’s an option there for repeat or loop!
  When I get home I’ll have a look.

  Use a timeline instead of a timer. Place the keyframe in the timeline, and adjust its length to the duration you want. Tweak the timeline so that it plays once. Hook the trigger zone into the power of the timeline.
  
  When the player leaves the trigger zone, the timeline will turn off along with the keyframe.
  
  Hard to say for sure this is what you want without fiddling with it myself. But hopefully this helps you with some ideas...
