Get my weapon/sword to cut things in half?

I want the laser sword I made for my level Beam Blade arena, to cut objects in half in the next level I make. How would you go about setting up logic for this?

  Hi,
  
  If you make your object you want cutting.
  Then copy it and slice it in 2,
  Finally when you attack it, set it to be destroyed with a destroyer and at the exact same time emit the 2 slices

  for the "slice it in 2" part, the "Cutout" tool is good for exactly that: https://indreams.me/guide/palette-glossary/model/tools/cut-out

  John what about another puppet I want to cut in half?? Great steam today by the way!

  Hi,
  
  You can do the same thing with a puppet, just make sure your 2 puppet halfs are not actually puppets themselves, just sculpts.
  Else they might start walking around!
