Tried to make a sound recording today but it just kept disappearing

I had this happening to me as well. The only fix I found was to leave a long enough tail of dead silence at the end that it (hopefully) wouldn't poof. I could adjust the clip after and remove the silent parts. If a time amount is required for a recording though it would be nice to have better context of that.

Yeah this happened to me too. I thought it was due to the sound levels it not detecting any audio or something.

It generally means you don't have a mic set up correctly... we need to explain that a bit better. Check your audio input settings and check that the ring around your imp is squiggling as you record, if it's not it means your mic isn't setup.

I'm having this happen a lot today. It's refusing to record anything. The line squiggles, its hearing me. It just doesn't want to save? I'm using the default mic/earpiece that comes with the system.

Just had this happen to me. Discovered there was an issue having 3 separate mics plugged in (VR headset was on, playstation camera was on, and my USB mic plugged in). Once I unplugged the VR headset and the camera, the mic was working again.

Clumsy, but I'm happy I got it working!
