How do I use the L stick on an advanced mover?

I'm trying to make a movable object using the L stick of the controller sensor in X and Y axis and when I connected it to the splitter and then onto the advanced mover on the X and Y pluggings it moves in wrong directions, i've even swap the wires and still doesn't move properly.
Help please

  I'm assuming it's moving in the opposite direction of what is wanted? If so I would grab a signal manipulator, select custom modulation(I forget the word, might be waveform), and then under the types of manipulation, there should be a graph. Drag the bottom bar of the first half down to -1, and on the right side, move the bottom bar up to 1, and the bar on top to -1. What this should do is flip values to the opposite value. Duplicate. Plug in your x and y inputs to each Signal Manipulator. Plug in outputs to mover.

  You have to connect to X & Z oddly enough. See some of my posts with replies incl. from Mm. Hope this helps.
