    Agh it's called the Oscillator not the LFO

    Hi! It sounds like we're confusing Oscillator (adding a synthesized tone to your sound) and LFO maybe?

    For the benefit of others reading this thought, "LFO" isn't mentioned in dreams, but LFO normally on its own doesn't really do anything, its just a way to describe a wobbly signal. In music you use an LFO to shape something, maybe the pitch of a sound, to create vibratos..

    To create LFO like effects in Dreams, you can add an effect field to an instruments performance canvas and tweak the Wave Settings on the last page of the field's tweak menu

    The Wave Speed will make the effect field pulse, and the Wave Depth governs how strong the wave is.

    When you've tweaked these, the effect field is now doing something a bit like an LFO - it's power is oscillating. Any tweaks on that effect field will fade in and out as the field throbs.

    pt 2. So to create a vibrato effect, crank up the wave depth and wave speed of an effect field, change the pitch in page 2 to be + or - a semitone or two, then perform the instrument inside the effect field.

    You can experiment of course and use signal generators to create a true LFO effect, but I'll leave that to you to figure out :)

    And because you mentioned Osc, which this question may have actually been about all along...

    The oscillator needs to be activated, by pressing the first button on the oscillator page. Then you can drag the Wave Shape slider to change the type of wave. We start with a double width sine wave on the left, (good for adding a sub bass sound), and it morphs to a saw tooth on the right (good for punchy synth leads).

    Last thing is - you need to increase the mix of the oscillator too. At 0% there is a 50/50 balance of source sound and oscillator. At 100%, just osc, and at -100%, just source sound.
